My beloved audience of Iron Gate: I have the absolute pleasure of presenting to you one of our three incredible Newbie (alto) girls, JORDAN WEBBAAAAA. This year, OTB was blessed with the graceful melodies of Jordan’s alto timbre, a dulcet blend of highs and lows that will leave you in awe at her range. Don’t be fooled though—there’s so much more to her than just her insane talent! She’s also the newest branch in OTB’s illustrious Philly local tree, and (in grand Sean Park tradition) will be continuing OTB’s long-lasting friendship with the local (shoutout GFS) a capella scene. She has an inspiring collection of off-the-shoulder apparel, and you can always count on her to bring the holiday cheer to rehearsal with her Grinch slippers (even in the middle of April). She’s the life of the party, the light of our lives, and she certainly does it all (for us). When I was younger (auditions in September of last year), I dreamt of one day having an army of altos to lead OTB into the future, and now I realize that Jordan was written in OTB’s future all along. Was it fate, or destiny that lead Jordan to us? I guess some things I’ll never know…
