Allow me to introduce our newest resident rock god, Liam Decker. The moment he walked into auditions (and straight into our hearts) singing Valerie , we all collectively said, “Yep. Star.” Face card? Check. Pipes? Check. Vibes? Check. He’s got it all. Straight outta Park City, Utah, where he apparently spent his free time climbing walls, Liam is not just a rock climber, he’s also a pre-med baddie at Penn. Oh, and did someone say TikTok famous? Correct. You can catch him flexing (literally) and promoting hair products on Tik Tok over at @liamdeckerr (with two r’s—the extra one stands for rizz). Since joining OTB, our rizz factor has definitely skyrocketed and our sound has been elevated. But beyond the rizz and the crazy vocals, Liam is genuinely one of the sweetest humans alive, and has added so much to Off The Beat in just one semester. I don’t know how we got so lucky, but I’m so grateful that we did. Tonight, you get to hear his thunderous voice on the IGT stage for the very first time singing Comfortable by Victor Ray. And this mysterious author, for one, is insanely lucky to sing with him.
