If you sense a thunderous belt shaking the ground beneath you, you may have passed on and entered rock heaven. More likely, you are in the presence of Xander Uyttendaele. Our resident tenor doesn’t just have a powerful belt. His near-perfect pitch accuracy allows him to keep the rest of us in line; if one of us gets out of tune, you bet he’ll be able to spot it and help us sound our best. And singing isn’t his only talent. In fact, it’s hard to find an area where Xander’s brilliance doesn’t shine. Every semester he takes a crazy courseload, where you’ll find him taking information theory, quantum physics, and machine learning, and cruising through them like they’re PSYC001. And outside of academics, he's an avid conqueror of the wilderness and the outdoors. From hikes to rock climbing to literally STUDYING GLACIERS IN ALASKA, there’s nothing this man can’t do.
